Near the Paul Linke Ufer in Kreuzberg lies an oasis of calm and creativity. The second backyard incorporates a brick building from the 1900s and a carriage house. The factory building incorporated a cigar factory, a customs storehouse and was later utilised as a joinery.

Transformation and Utilization

The building with its simplistic sanitary conditions was in need of redevelopment. The technical infrastructure as well as most parts for living and working purposes were renovated. The actual interior finish was realized by the future residents and occupiers.

Ratiborstrasse is located in the district of Kreuzberg. The street is designated as a 30 km/h service road and leads to Görlitzer Park.
