This wonderful cathedral-like building is a pumping station, protected as a historic monument featuring several adjoining rooms. The former machine hall with its fully functioning historical crane installations has a height of approx. 13 metres.

Transformation and Utilization

For the last several years, the compound was vacant and used only sporadically. Two internationally known artists from Denmark and Norway, as well as a gallery owner from Milan found a new home here in the district of Neukölln. The building has been reconstructed by the artists themselves. Both artists hired the architects Wenk + Wiese to realize the interior finish.

Location

The pumping Station is located in the district of Neukölln, near the canal and a quiet service road.
